Goi Dau

“Goi dau” unfolds through a more traditional cinematic lens, centering on four characters sharing a temporary living space in early-2000s Hanoi. The story begins to unravel the moment a bottle of shampoo enters the frame, setting off a chain of disorienting shifts in both narrative and emotion. Told in a non-linear, slightly experimental structure, the MV strips back its characters to expose a raw, almost instinctive sense of self. Beneath its surreal flow, the project raises a quiet but unsettling question: if one could abandon the “human” layer and remain only with the primal “animal,” would that choice offer any kind of relief - or simply a different form of escape?
